Nine people, one office on Roosevelt Wilson Lane, and a rule that has not changed since 2016: the person who quotes your freight is the person who answers when you call about it.
Since 2016
Pablo Maser spent fourteen years dispatching temperature-controlled freight out of the Coachella Valley before opening Mesa Line Freight Group in April 2016. The first office was one room, two phone lines and a whiteboard. The first customer was a grape packer who needed six reefers a week and was tired of being handed to a new rep every quarter.
That packer is still on the books. So is the way we work: quote the real number, pay carriers inside their terms so they take our loads first, and never let a shipper find out about a delay from their own receiver.
We deliberately stayed small. Nine people means every account has a primary and a backup dispatcher who both know the freight, the docks and the appointment quirks. It also means we turn down volume we cannot cover properly — which we would rather do than book a load we know will sit.
Pablo signs off on every new carrier and every claim. No layers.
English and Spanish across dispatch, driver comms and paperwork.

Standards
Anyone can say they vet carriers. This is the checklist a truck has to clear before it is dispatched on your freight.
FMCSA authority verified as active and matched to the MC/DOT numbers on the rate confirmation. No double-brokering.
Certificate naming Mesa Line, with auto liability and cargo coverage appropriate to the commodity value — higher limits requested for high-value loads.
CSA basics and inspection history reviewed. Carriers with unsatisfactory ratings or open out-of-service patterns are not used.
Written terms covering securement, temperature, communication, detention and claims handling before a first load.
We keep our own on-time and claim record per carrier per lane, and it drives who gets offered the load.
Driver name, cell number and truck/trailer numbers confirmed and shared with you before pickup.

During desk hours, on standard equipment. Complex moves get a stated callback time.
If a charge is not on the rate confirmation, it is not on your invoice.
